Packaging and Pick-and-Place Systems

Robots and cobots are programmed to pick items from the shelves and place them in boxes for packing. These robots can handle products of different shapes and sizes, increasing the speed and accuracy of the order preparation process. These systems are used to automate the packaging process, folding boxes, filling them with products, and sealing them. They are ideal for high-speed production lines.

Palletizing and depalletizing

Specific robots Palletizers are designed to stack boxes or other containers on pallets in an orderly manner. The palletizing robots can be programmed to handle different configurations and optimize space use on the pallet. With the same technology, robots are used to remove boxes from pallets, preparing them for the next stage of the distribution or storage process.

Sorting

Robots programmed to be used in distribution centres to sort parcels according to destination or other characteristics (weight, size, etc.). These robots are able to handle large volumes of parcels in very short time, increasing the efficiency of the supply chain and if equipped with vision systems can be applied to control the packages, checking that they are correctly labelled and sealed, read barcodes and other information to track the path of parcels.
